- 2. Wear modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees near temples.
- 3. Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri starts around 6:00 PM (Winter) and 7:00 PM (Summer).
- 4. To get a good sitting spot for Aarti, arrive at the ghat 45 minutes early.
- 5. Beware of self-proclaimed "Pandits" asking for large donations; give only to official temple trusts.
- 6. Keep your footwear safely at designated "Joota Stands."
- 7. Mansa Devi & Chandi Devi temples involve cable car rides; be prepared for queues.
- 8. Mobile phones and cameras are restricted in some inner temple sanctums.
- 9. Rishikesh is about 25 km from Haridwar; we cover both in our day tour.
- 10. Crossing the Lakshman Jhula in Rishikesh requires walking; cars cannot cross the bridges.
- 11. Stay alert near the river banks as the currents are very strong.
- 12. If taking a holy dip, use the safety chains provided at the ghats.
- 13. Monkeys are common in these temple towns; avoid carrying visible food bags.
- 14. Photography is great at the ghats, but respect the privacy of devotees.
- 15. Haridwar is famous for "Puri-Sabzi" and "Lassi"; our driver can guide you to clean shops.
- 16. Carry a spare set of clothes and a towel if you plan to take a holy dip.
- 17. Weekend traffic can be heavy due to the "Ganga Snan" crowds.
- 18. Our cars are fully air-conditioned for your comfort on the highway.
- 19. The total distance from Delhi is 220km, taking about 4-5 hours.
- 20. Always coordinate your meeting point with the driver before leaving for the ghats.
